Q8Aviation has received an Award of Recognition for its outstanding contribution throughout its Strategic Partnership with IATA over 25 years. The award was presented by Hemant Mistry, IATA Director of Global Airport Infrastructure & Fuel, to Naser Ben Butain, General Manager Q8Aviation, at the Aviation Fuel Forum in New Orleans on 12 November.
The IATA Strategic Partnerships programme is a platform for stakeholders in the aviation industry to work together to address industry challenges, develop new initiatives and move the industry forward. Members contribute their knowledge to more than 100 work groups and task forces, which span almost every aspect of airline operations.
Q8Aviation has been a strategic partner since 1994, participating in the twice-yearly Aviation Fuel Forum on a commercial and technical basis. Q8 Aviation is also represented on the Fuel Steering Group.
Naser Ben Butain comments: “Our team at Q8Aviation includes some of the world’s leading experts in aviation fuel and it is a pleasure to collaborate with our colleagues in other organisations to play our part in supporting the industry. We were honoured to receive this award and look forward to continuing our long and valued association with IATA.”
