Q8Aviation has started marketing jet fuel at Malta International Airport from 1st April 2017, further strengthening our fast-growing regional network.
Malta is one of the smallest countries in the EU with a population of just over 400,000, but tourism plays an important part in the local economy and in 2016 the island attracted 1.8 million tourists.
The island benefits from 7,000 years of history and has been described as ‘one big open-air museum’. It also boasts an impressive tourism infrastructure, which has increased significantly over recent years and now includes many luxury hotels, spas and restaurants.
Julian Amesbury, Commercial Director at Q8Aviation, comments: “We are pleased to continue developing our business in the region, especially in view of the proximity of Malta to our Italian operations. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with the airport and are delighted to have already secured some important customers.”
