Q8Aviation has agreed a Supply Agreement with easyJet to supply the airline’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) requirements over the next five years.

This important agreement confirms the strong commitment of Q8Aviation and easyJet to achieve a net carbon emission reduction in the fuel used in aviation. The agreement forms part of easyJet’s ambitious five-year sustainability roadmap that sets out how it can achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

The agreement also confirms the strength of the partnership between Q8Aviation and easyJet. Q8Aviation has been a major supplier of aviation fuel to easyJet for more than 15 years. In 2021, easyJet was the first airline to operate flights out of Gatwick airport using a mixture of SAF and Jet A-1, which was supplied by Q8Aviation using Neste MY SAF.

We will continue to use SAF as required, until our fleet has been fully transitioned to zero carbon emission aircraft, to achieve material lifecycle carbon emissions reductions in comparison to kerosene and look forward to putting this in place with Q8Aviation.”
