A recent Joint Inspection Group (JIG) workshop held in Sydney for aviation fuel service managers has been hailed as one of the most successful ever.
The workshop, JIG’s first in Australia, was attended by 55 delegates from airports across Asia, the Pacific Islands and the Middle East and attracted very positive feedback from delegates for the quality of its presentations.
JIG workshops bring together technical experts from oil companies, airport fuelling operators and airlines to provide technical updates on a wide range of issues, including fuel quality, filtration and equipment, and to share experiences, information and ideas on technical issues.
Q8Aviation holds leading roles within JIG and was represented by John Buxton, Technical Director, who is also the Chairman of JIG’s Workshop Committee and Nic Mason, Technical Services Manager and chair of JIG’s Operations Committee.
John Buxton comments: “Q8Aviation at the highest level is totally committed to supporting JIG and we are delighted with the tremendous success of this workshop. These professional workshops provide an invaluable forum for constantly raising standards in the industry and our technical team at Q8Aviation continues to make a significant contribution to this.”
